I reviewed the White Coat Investor’s Fire Your Financial Advisor online course when it was new back in 2018 (I’m an affiliate and got it for free.)
This week the folks over at the WCI Empire have just released a big course update including new (and remastered) videos, some modernization, more handouts, worksheets, and even a new private discussion forum. They even folded in a bunch of new lectures from selections of prior WCI conference videos, such as one about the history of the federal student loan system from my talk last year (in case you’re wondering, I don’t get anything extra for that; the contract for that talk included future use).
So if you bought it before, log back in and check out the new content.
They’re also doing something clever with CME. By combining the updated course with some burnout/wellness material, they’ve created a new combined CME offering called “Financial Wellness and Burnout Prevention for the Medical Professional” that costs $1099 (ouch) but now nets you 8 hours of CME and is therefore eligible for purchase with CME funds. Since conferences are mostly virtual this year, it’s a good time to essentially buy a financial planning course for “free” (on someone else’s dime).
Old customers can purchase a $300 CME “upgrade” and get a receipt for the full $1099 course to submit for CME fund reimbursement (this may actually be the most interesting update for prior buyers).
Both the regular course ($799) and the CME course ($1099) are currently $100 off through Monday, February 22nd at midnight with the code WELLNESS100.
